About This Lesson

An ideal activity for National Science and Engineering Week the wind power challenge asks students to design a wind powered machine that can lift a weighted cup off the floor. 'Wind' power is provided using hairdryers. Research material, teacher's notes, video clips and even downloadable certificates are all freely available on the website
