About This Lesson
A TESiboard activiy to practise reading and spelling words with endings ck / ff / ll / ss / ng. This game was not specifically designed for Synthetic Phonics but can be used for fun word building/spelling games.
In this "game" version, make words with the ending provided. Reset the game for a different ending. Ask one child to try and catch out the class by making lots of letter combinations using, e.g. a CVCC pattern. Which words are real, which are made up? Which are easy to sound out, which are not?
