About This Lesson
This resource was designed as a fun way for students to practice vocab and the meanings of words. Using the bookmark and worksheet provided, students will find, record, and discuss words of interest from the text. Common Core State Standards addressed: L.K.4 - Determine or clarify the meaning of unknown and multiple-meaning words and phrases based on kindergarten reading and content. L.1.4 - Determine or clarify the meaning of uknown or multiple-meaning words and phrases based on grade1 reading and content, choosing flexibly from an array of strategies.
