About This Lesson

A guide for parents, carers and teachers about digital music at home, at school and on the go. Music is an important part of young people's lives. While accessing music online has never been easier, it raises important copyright and security issues. This guide for parents and teachers aims to give essential advice about how young people can get the best out of downloading and sharing music in a safe and legal way.

A well-written and simple to access guide with a wealth of information, plus practical tips that parents and teachers can use. Raises some very important issues and may be of particular use to older teachers who do not access music in the same way as their pupils.

Though geared for students in the U.K., the tips and information are pretty universal. You will need to edit to fit your needs, but this is a good resource.
