About This Lesson
Students will learn about voter participation and election processes in our federal system through a resource-filled library of voter stories that humanizes political concepts. You’re Eligible Situations - YES voting champions help students relate to the situations and barriers that some voters face while simultaneously preparing future voters to navigate any obstacle in their pathway to the ballot box.
Students will practice interpreting primary source material and applying their learning by taking informed action to create authentic individualized plans to vote. The interactive learning experience provided by us.vote generates reliable customized voting resources for each student in every state.
