Andy Kratochvil is a proud member of the AFT Share My Lesson team, where he’s passionate about discovering and sharing top-tier content with educators across the country. He earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and French from California State University, Fullerton, and later completed a master’s in international affairs at American University in Washington, DC.
A self-proclaimed current events geek, Andy has a particular passion for foreign policy, climate education, and labor advocacy. He brings a global perspective and sharp editorial instincts to his work, curating timely, instructionally relevant resources that support educators and students alike.
Outside of work, Andy enjoys hiking, playing video games, reading scary books, and Mexican food. Originally from California, he still loves heading back home to enjoy the Pacific Ocean—especially a good body surfing session under the sun.
