1970-1990- Owner and Founder of the Century School of Gymnastics Ltd, Pomona , New York. Head coach of the Century Comets girls USGF team. Founder of the Century Tumble Bees age 2-5 program. Sponsor and Director of the 1976 AAU girls Junior National Gymnastic championships in Haverstraw, NY.
1998-1999- Director of Technology and Communications at the New York University Professional Development Lab. Wrote 120 page web site. Ran NYC clinics on Technology in the classroom. AT&T grant for one year $500,000. Full professor status at NYU.
1999-2000- Director of Technology at Assumption Academy, Catholic School in Emerson, New Jersey. Taught grades K-8 in computer technology and projects. Upgraded the entire technology system. Professional development with faculty at Assumption Academy.
2000-2001- BOCES of Nyack, Adjunct Professor of Computer Technology systems 240 hour course for Adults that were foreign born and limited English. Also, Taught Adobe Photoshop for Beginners course, Web Development. Excel for Business Professionals. Taught 20 hours a week on average.
2001-2005- Director of the College of Mount Saint Vincent Teacher Learning Center and also Coordinator of a Title V Hispanic serving Institutions federal grant of 1.1 million dollars over five years. Complete all grant goals, installed 27 Smart classrooms, tutored 125 faculty in Instructional Technology and Web Development and online courses. Supervised a staff of two assistants and two students trainees. Also, Adjunct Professor in the Communications Department and the Fine Arts Department and the Nursing Department. Wrote the Curriculum for Introduction to Adobe Photoshop. Taught Technology to Masters level Nurses. Taught undergrad students in Darkroom development and Digital Photography. Also taught Desktop Publishing and Powerpoint Presentations in Communications part-time.
2006-2008, August- Senior Instructional Technologist for a Title III Federal Grant for St. Johns University, Jamaica , Queens campus, NY. Designed new Faculty learning Lab from scratch. Helped purchase laptops and technology equipment for the grant 2.5 million over five years. Tutored 58 faculty in 14 week courses in Instructional Technology in the Classroom. Sponsored National Technology In the Classroom Seminar and invited guest speakers and designed the entire schedule for three day conference. Installed White Boards on Staten Island Campus and Queens campus. Reported directly to the University Provost. Completed Annual report to the US Department of Education.
2008-2010, March.- Director of Faculty Development and Assessment at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. The largest Osteopathic medical college in the United States. Rewrote the entire College assessment standards 160 pages to meet COCA citations. Approved by University President Feb. 2009. Created a new assessment system for medical students consisting of Student teams for each course to evaluate the course each week and conclude with a two page positive professional executive report. Ran faculty clinics. Upgraded and converted Medical exam questions for ten years to ACCESS software to allow access to old questions on tests and to standardize the tests. Personal assistant in technology to the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the College.
Retired from college teaching March 2010 and moved to San Diego, Calif.
