Biography
Rachael lives and works in Albuquerque, NM, and teaches middle school Social Studies, English Language Arts, and English Language Development.
She started her career as an educational assistant in 2008; she earned her M.A. in Teaching in 2012; she then taught English as a foreign language in the Dominican Republic and Haiti for five years. Since returning to the U.S. in 2017, she has taught at Garfield Middle School in Albuquerque, NM.
Rachael is passionate about bilingual education, project based learning, and civic engagement. She is a proud and active member of her local union, the Albuquerque Teachers Federation.
