Biography
Hi! Welcome to my page! I've taught at ethnically, religiously, and economically diverse rural and urban public high schools, including the East Coast of the United States and internationally as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant on a small island off the south of Sumatra in Indonesia. It is through these classroom settings that I have refined my teaching skills with a heavy focus on literacy and rigor. While the students I have taught are diverse, they wrestle with the same essential question: What does it mean to be a good person? This is a question I revel in helping young students answer by drawing universal connections from literature.
