2021 AFT TEACH Conference

I am a second grade teacher in California. I am so glad to see that a discussion about rebuilding after COVID will be a part of this. I really want to start next year with a plan for effectively supporting students after this difficult school year.

I hope to talk with other teachers and learn new ways to support my ELA students. I teach 9th and 10th grade.

We have been face to face this year as well as teaching virtually synchronously. I teach Chemistry 1 and ICP.

I would love to see more info on social emotional learning.

Hi all! I’m Mike Berstein and am the digital literacy/TTL for a k-8 school in south Philadelphia. We learn a large range of subjects in my class, from online safety and cyber citizenship to coding, web design and 3d printing! Hoping to learn more at the conference this year of other tools that could be used for online learning that is easily portable to the physical classroom as we FINALLY become face to face once more!

I am a 7th grade Language Arts teacher in Oregon. I am really interested in the topic of rebuilding after COVID-19. I think this will not only be valuable for my students but for myself as well. I need to find my "new" groove.
