About This Lesson

This is a first grade ELA Unit, Lesson 7 out of 12. All About Living Things: Learning to Navigate and Create Informational Texts - Viewing Pictures. This lesson asks students to recall information in order to identify a topic they are interested in exploring. Students are asked to collaborate with peers during a turn and talk activity to share recalled experiences, which will help students in topic selection. Aligned to CCSS: RI.1.5 , RI.1.10 , W.8
