The 29th in Mr Barton's Autograph Video tutorial series. Following on from our work on Scatter Plots, we take a look at how the Line of Best Fit is calculated. Autograph is able to clearly demonstrate the method for finding the least squares regression line. Know that straight lines are widely used to model relationships between two quantitative variables. For scatter plots that suggest a linear association, informally fit a straight line, and informally assess the model fit by judging the closeness of the data points to the line.

Great video, love Autographs use of the sum of the areas of the squares. Great visual way to help students improve their line of best fit
