About This Lesson
Use this lesson to introduce students to the enormity of the crimes committed during the Holocaust and to help them bear witness to the experiences of those targeted by the Nazis.
Students will learn about the four phases of the Holocaust and then examine firsthand accounts of individuals who worked to preserve their human dignity in the face of dehumanization.
