About This Lesson
This lesson builds off previous lessons reading "Elijah of Buxton," a historical novel about a young African-American boy in the 1800s. Student will navigate through the Buxton Museum website and see how it can supplement what they’ve already learned through the book. The student will use the supplemental information and incorporate it in their writing piece during the next and final lesson, "'Elijah of Buxton' Epilogue."
