About This Lesson
This is a two page handout that I give my students every day. They fill in the boxes at the top, writing the agenda, quote, vocabulary, etc. Then, they must read for 20 minutes and use the rest of the worksheet, to summarize the reading, analyze it, and predict what will happen next. It's a great way to start class, and gives me time to take attendance and check homework.<br /> Aligned to Common Core State Standard: RL.11-12.10
