About This Lesson

This lesson helps students look closely at a text to examine the power of language.  While students read the engaging story by Virginia Driving Hawk Sneve titled "The Medicine Bag" students will explore how language can impact meaning both in literary text and in their own lives.  Differentiations suggests and support are provided. The lesson includes resources and Exit Slip assessment.
