About This Lesson

There are two types of broken hearts. The first is when someone breaks your heart and the other is when you don’t take care of your heart physically. Although both are bad, Neglecting to work out your heart can be life threatening later on in life.

This unit will not only help understand the machine that your heart is but also exercises to make it run efficiently. The more a person works out their heart the easier it becomes to pump blood and spread essential oxygen throughout the body. We will begin with understanding the heart and then have fun exploring different activities to practice easy, moderate, and vigorous cardio. Then it will become more specific with long distance and sprint training. Throughout the unit we will be keeping track of our hearts progress.
