About This Lesson
This is a fourth grade ELA Unit, Lesson 5 out of 10. Endangered A Study of Animal Population Change - Cause and Effect Relationships. In this lesson, students will be exposed to a text for the second time, with the focus on understanding cause and effect relationships. The focus on the structure of the text will build a foundation for what readers can anticipate in texts similar to this one, and can be applied to students’ writing as well.
