About This Lesson

This is a fourth grade ELA Unit, Lesson 6 out of 10. Endangered A Study of Animal Population Change - Student Writing: Constructing a Cause and Effect Response. In the previous reading lesson, students went through steps to identify and analyze cause/effect structure in a given text. Students will now use similar strategies to create a writing piece by including sections from the texts they have read. Later, students will choose sections of their own written work to include in their culminating project. Aligned to Common Core State Standards: ELA-Literacy.W.4.2 , CCRA.W.2 , CCRA.W.4
