This is a fourth grade ELA Unit, Lesson 7 out of 10. Endangered A Study of Animal Population Change - Organizing your Thoughts like an Activitst. Students have gone through steps to identify and analyze the cause and effect structure an author has used to express ideas in the content of reading. They now will use similar strategies to create a writing piece and integrate portions of previous readings into their writing; this lesson provides students with the opportunity to transfer these skills into their work. Aligned to Common Core State Standards: W.4.2 , CCRA.W.2 , CCRA.W.4
