About This Lesson

While the death of Osama bin Laden in May 2011 brought closure to many seeking justice after 9/11, it would not eliminate the threat of terrorism entirely. Use this lesson plan to explore the question: How has the threat of terrorism evolved, and what can counterterrorism agents learn from the hunt for bin Laden?

In this lesson, students will:

  • Analyze the evolving and persistent threat of terrorism.
  • Discuss the importance of inter-agency collaboration in current events as well as historically.

Lesson plans include interactive images, videos, and links, that are best viewed directly from our website using the link in the resources tab.
