About This Lesson
Every year, the Greater Good Science Center’s Summer Institute for Educators welcomes educators from all over the world for 6 days of learning, discussing, and putting into practice the science of a meaningful life. This year, we invited past participants to share how they had used what they learned from their time at the Institute. Jay Turner, a 7th and 8th grade history teacher from Southern California, gave a particularly moving account of the lessons he took back to his school.
