About This Lesson
Scoot is a great way to have students develop procedural fluency with a topic, and the resulting work provides invaluable formative assessment data that can inform future instruction! Not to mention, it is a lot of fun!
The Scoot Game provided has 12 “grade level” cards and a recording sheet with 12 spaces to record student responses as well as 12 “modified” cards with a modified recording sheet to scaffold for struggling students. The focus of both sets is on repeated addition, “groups of”, arrays and multiplication equations.
