About This Lesson
Students will learn to define and recognize the symmetry of a parabola (graph of a quadratic function) and its vertex; define and recognize the maximum/ minimum values of a parabola; define and recognize the y intercept of a quadratic function; define and recognize the leading coefficient, the domain and the range of a parabola; graph a quadratic function using all the above features of a parabola; and graph quadratic equations using graphing technology (i.e. TI-84, etc.)
