About This Lesson

Students will learn to use their understanding about the graphing linear functions to find the steepness of roads, average speed, make predictions and so on. Students will also develop the understanding that the constancy of the rate of change is the key concept involved in slope and linearity. Students will practice drawing graphs of linear functions using slope and intercept and thus apply that knowledge for both drawing graphs and interpreting them for real world problems.
