About This Lesson

Students will identify the parent function of a quadratic function as f(x) = x ² and determine that the relation given is quadratic; graph quadratic functions in standard form using (x, y) coordinates in a table; identify the vertex of a quadratic function as (h, k); and graph quadratic functions in vertex form when the vertex is given and by using the (x, y) coordinates in a table.
