About This Lesson
This is a guided reading plan that I used with 2nd grade AIS Reading students. I wanted to teach them about some non-fiction text features. I paired this book with a section from The Little Gardener's Guide on the same topic. I noted the areas of my lesson that aligned to New York Common Core State Standards.
