About This Lesson

Throughout history, explorers have made discoveries that changed the way people viewed the world. In their quest for knowledge and fame, these pioneers have achieved great things for themselves and their countries. But, there is a fine line between good and evil. Could the world's greatest heroes also be considered aggressive, self-centered rebels? In this intermediate level module, students will write an argumentative letter supporting whether their selected explorer should be considered a hero or a villain.
