About This Lesson
This foundational literacy (phonics) lesson is at the WIDA pre-entering level and introduces the postalveolar, retroflex, palatal, velar, and glottal consonants. At the end of this lesson, students can distinguish between postalveolar, retroflex, palatal, velar, and glottal consonants and produce an anchor word for each.
