About This Lesson

This is the second part of a unit study on Jan Brett. This portion focuses on "the Mitten" and consists of two lessons, the first lesson focuses on Jan Brett's version and the second lesson has students compare and contrast that version to the one written by Jim Aylesworth.This resource has two lesson plans, worksheets, images and the unit outline as well. Aligned to Common Core State Standards: RL.K.2, RL.K.3, RL.K.9, RI.K.9, W.K.1
