About This Lesson
Jefferson County AFT was awarded an OMG (Offering More Great) Books grant from First Book. Using these funds, JCAFT held book fairs and community events to help students and families in need have access to books for summer reading, as well as formed a partnership with the Sheriff’s Department to start Books not Bullets to build better relationships between students, families and deputies.
