This is a very nice resource which would make a great starter to get students thinking about how changing the scale on a graph can cause it to be misleading. You could ask students which graph is the best and get them to vote then discuss their ideas. What is also nice is that the numbers can be changed at the click of a button to alter the question. I would use this as a starter in a lesson on misleading statistics, you could then get the students to think of other ways to manipulate data and look at some graphs and diagrams in newspapers or the media.
