About This Lesson

This is the third lesson of a unit based on Molly’s Pilgrim by Barbara Cohen. The critical area of focus of this lesson is for students to compare and contrast the treatment of similar themes and topics (e.g. opposition of good and evil) and patterns of events (e.g. the quest) in stories, myths, and traditional literature. Aligned to Common Core State Standard: RL.3.9
