About This Lesson

This lesson builds on a previous lesson that presented model drawing strategies for solving word problems multiplying whole numbers by fractions. Students will practice adjusting their model drawing to represent multiplying whole numbers by mixed numbers. Aligned to Common Core State Standards: 5.NF.6
