good idea

Hi a good idea - what was the actual experiement that they carried out? or did you leave that for pupils to decide?

Details of practical

I pretty much left it to them to decide. I just had in the lab the following equipment and they planned it: freshly picked dock leaves, pestle and mortars, distilled water, universal indicator, test tubes and squeezy pipettes. I also printed out some info about nettles containing acid. They tested the 'juice' from the dock leaves and saw that it was acidic so couldn't neutralise the acid from the dock leaves.
