About This Lesson
Students will learn about discrimination and segregation in the military during World War II and develop college- and career-ready reading and writing skills. Students will learn to explain, compare, and contrast information presented in written form alongside other media or formats to learn about a topic or issue, and locate and cite textual evidence to support my analysis of what the text says. Students will also be able to write informative/explanatory texts that convey ideas and concepts using relevant information that is carefully selected and organized.
