About This Lesson
This is an organization strategy that many students find helpful. Instead of diving headlong into a personal narrative, they write each scene first and place the scenes in a logical order. The story tracker asks the author which characters are in the scene, where does it take place, and what significance does it have for the story. This is an effective brainstorming technique, and helps quite a bit with organization.
