This is a fifth grade ELA unit based on the Patricia J. Lewis book, Pink and Say. This is lesson 1 of 8 lessons in this unit. Lesson Objectives:<BR>
1) I can determine two or more main ideas of a text and explain how they are supported by key details.<BR>
2) I can explain the relationships between two or more individuals, events or ideas in a historical story based on specific information in the text.<BR>
3) I can pose and respond to specific questions through discussion and elaborate on the remarks of others.<BR>
