About This Lesson
Students will continue to identify, compare and contrast equations written in standard form to equations written in the vertex form. Students will continue to re-write equations in vertex form to standard form, multiply and factor binomials. Students will discover when quadratic equations cannot be factored the square root property can be used to solve quadratic equations. Students will then begin to compare, contrast, discover, and justify similarities and differences between quadratic equations written in vertex form to quadratic equations written in standard form.
