About This Lesson
This is a ninth grade Algebra Unit, Lesson 3 out of 8. Quadratic Functions - Factoring Quadratics Expressions. Students develop an understanding of factoring quadratic expressions to find its roots. This lesson was designed to follow a lesson on factored form of a quadratic function, allowing students to recognize the connection between the graphic representation of zeros and the algebraic solution of a quadratic equation called its roots which will be studied during the next lesson.
