About This Lesson

The worksheet focuses on the use of Present Simple, Present Continuous, Future Simple, Present Perfect tenses. Students observe the use of the tenses in Queen Elizabeth’s address to the nation and practise the use of the tenses. Finally, a speaking activity allows students to create a version of their own address to the nation. The tasks can be used for independent studies or distance-learning classes.
