About This Lesson

This is a second grade Math Unit, Lesson 4 out of 15. Reasoning with Shapes and their Attributes - Rectangles. Rather than being given step by step directions as to how to create a rectangle, students are reminded of the right angle they created in the previous lesson, and then given the task of creating a quadrilateral that has 4 right angles. Aligned to Common Core State Standards: 2.G.1 , MP.1 , MP.3
