About This Lesson
Students will learn about discrimination and segregation in the military during World War II and develop college- and career-ready reading and writing skills. Students will learn to read closely and find answers explicitly in text and answers that require an inference. Students will also learn to describe and evaluate the argument and specific claims presented in a text. During the lesson, students will write arguments to support claims with clear reasons and relevant evidence.
