About This Lesson

This PowerPoint has been designed for a lesson where students undertake an open-ended investigation on how the temperature of acid affects the rate of a reaction.
It is based on the idea of a metal statue going on tour around different countries.
The class are divided up into teams, and each group investigates a different temperature of acid.

Fantastic - worked a treat with both bottom and top set. They loved that it was in context and relevant to them.

A very good idea which breaks the practical up into useful bits

I really like the revision of a canned lab into a collaborative, inquiry based lab.
