About This Lesson

In this lesson, students examine photographs of the blind in everyday life and explore the social and societal misconceptions which affect those living with disabilities. Society holds misconceptions about the visually impaired, yet the blind can communicate well and perform skills with independent mobility, becoming productive citizens.
