About This Lesson

This assignment provides students with a mall.html sample document that was built using basic HTML tags to create the webpage. Students open up the mall.html page using a Web edit(ie Adobe Dreamweaver) or a basic text editor (notepad, textedit). They then copy the HTML codes into the Basic HTML Tags document. They are then to identify the basic HTML tags listed by highlighting them inside the code. A follow up lesson would be to have students use these basic HTML tags they identified to create a simple webpage about themself.
