About This Lesson

Students will learn how to figure out the meaning of an unusual words or phrase when they read by using context clues. Students will also learn to identify types of figurative language and determine the meaning of figurative language when used in text.

Excellent resource and

Excellent resource and material. Thanks a lot! I am using it with my ELL homeschool 8th grade student. I used two types in our first class and did a lot of task cards so he could identify which was which.
