Writing Assessment Rubric for TEACHERS

I designed this rubric in order to monitor my students developmental writing progress. I carefully researched different stages of writing for children in 2nd and 3rd grades. You can use this assessment to share with parents as well as guide your writing instruction. I have also attached a resource designed for parents, giving them specific writing activities they can do at home with their child based on their developmental level. The documents can be downloaded in English and Chinese.
