About This Lesson

In this lesson, students will learn how is a similar event shared differently in a fictional text versus an informational text. To do so, they will make connections between a similar experience shared in the different formats of the fictional "Speak," by Laurie Halse Anderson, and a non-fictional article published by The New York Times.
