Freedom to teach is egalitarian.
It is knowing that knowledge is not an up and down mechanism it is equity and shared. The freedoms to share knowledge and critically question ghat knowledge is the essence of humanity.

I think the freedom to teach means I need to be extra careful what part of my thought stream will be revealed to my students but also on the other hand it means I have a right to know their very deep and important thoughts and feelings.
WITHOUT FREEDOM THERE WOULD BE NO LOVE. And a teacher is a kind of love in disguise. BTW, Greetings from Poland!

Freedom to Teach, to me, means being able to adjust my lessons at a moments notice, based on the needs of my students at that very moment, without worrying that I am deviating from the posted objective for the day.
I don’t want to be concerned that an administrator will enter my room and see that the lesson and the objective don’t match. Let me do my job!! I’m a professional, I know what I need to do and what my students need!

Freedom to teach means being able to teach with worrying about the countless state assessments administered to students and how students will perform on those assessments versus how the students will master the content of my course.
Freedom to teach would allow me to have autonomy over the classroom instruction and how my students progress academically, socially, and emotionally. I just want to teach and for students to learn~

Freedom to teach means that I don’t have to adhere to “standards” that were written by someone else with a one-size-fits-all mentality.
It means that I can adjust to my students needs and interests without fear of being labeled an unsatisfactory teacher and losing my job. Freedom to teach means teaching without censorship, even ideas that challenge the current zeitgeist. Freedom to teach means bringing spontaneity, wonder, and joy back into the science classroom.
